ahh I was pronouncing Solaris's name with way more of an o sound (like sol-air-is) and I have a pretty typical midwestern accent. hm. which of my characters are you guys confused on? I can tell you how I've been pronouncing them hehe I'll be honest, the amount of emphasis I put on the "o" in Solaris' name depends on how fast I'm speaking/thinking. But mostly I say it like "Sul" but sometimes it's like "Sol". But my accent is probably a little bit different from yours anyways so IDK, maybe there's a difference in how we pronounce our o's in different regions of the US.

my accent is most certainly different, and there's a ton of accent variation around this region. And my NY state friends commented on it so it's likely. I sound a lot like a regular NY state accent most of the time, then there's some phrases that are just completely different.
Also, we say sorry with an a. sarry
night!

here you go (stressed syllables have capital letters)
I already explained Arcturus, and Icarus's name is pretty easy. Vanna's real name, Giovanna, is pronounced joe-Von-nuh. It's italian and I think it's pretty, but she goes strictly by the shortened form because she thinks it sounds more modern (plus it's a way of defying her owners, who were pretty adamant about using her given name)
The extremists have the weirdest names as a whole. Not completely sure if this is right, but I've been saying Adrasteia's name as uh-Dra-stee-uh with a short a in the second syllable (that's one of the more exotic ones. It supposedly means "not inclined to run away", which I thought made for an interesting bender name, but that's only according to one site. Otherwise it's the name of a minor goddess of revenge, which is just as interesting) and Erasmus is uh-Rass-muss (short u, the last syllable is almost like "miss"). hmm let's see, there's also Lysander which is lie-Zand-er and Althea, which is Al-thee-uh (soft th). Althea's is from the Greek for "healer". Nix has an easy name to pronounce, but it comes from the name of a water spirit in Germanic mythology which is sort of neat. And Mordecai's is More-duh-ky. I haven't done much with the character yet but his name is seriously cool
I pronounced Arryn wrong for a really long time so I'll mention it; it's the same as Aaron or Erin (Let's hope Arryn and Aaron are never in the same room). Auberon's name was also butchered by me in the past but it's oh-bur-on.
And there you go. Probably a few mistakes because I'm tired and on my phone, but that's how I pronounce them

Most of those I pronounced the same way, except for Lysander and Giovanna. Lysander I pronounce like Eggs does, and Giovanna I say "Geo-vah-nuh" but I know that's probably just the American way of saying it instead of the proper, Italian pronunciation. I also blame Pokemon for that pronunciation because I grew up on the Pokemon Anime and one of the villains was named "Giovanni" and they pronounced it like "Geo-vah-nee" so yeah. Also slightly off topic but I got a wonderful avengers cookie cutter today It didn't say who it was from though, so I thank whoever it was that sent it, haha. I was really confused at first, though, because it was sent from Portugal and I was just like "do I know someone in Portugal? "

I'm gonna just try and improve my mental health, and that means kind of uprooting a bit of my lifestyle but I'm willing to do so. 2014 was a ****ty year so I want 2015 to be better But right now I'm pretty tired, so I think I'm gonna go to bed. Happy New Years!
